Chelsea Quilts

Chelsea Quilts is a home based longarm quilting business based out of Lindsay, ON  I work on a top of the line APQS Millenium machine, affectionately nick named "the beast". My work is completely hand guided and I specialize in creating freehand designs that complement each unique quilt.

I've been quilting since I was 17, when I took over a grandmother's flower garden my mum had started for me when I was a baby. I'm not sure that one will ever be finished, but I have many other quilts under my belt since then! In the early 2000s I fell in love with Diane Gaudynski and her style of machine quilting that echoed heirloom quilting of the past. I finished many quilts on my home machine using her techniques but dreamed of moving up to the big leagues and buying a longarm machine. That dream finally came true and now I'm able to bring the passion I put into my own quilts to finishing my customers' quilts, too!
